Commercial I is a 2-day course. The curriculum covers electrical and generator theory and safety, voltage regulation, fuel, ignition & RTS transfer switch fundamentals, and R series control panels. We'll cover operation, maintenance and basic installation guidelines, troubleshooting and use of schematics & wiring diagrams. Upon successful completion a technician that is assigned to an appropriate service dealer may perform warranty repairs on non configured, gaseous fueled sets to 60kW equipped with an R series controller. A laptop is not required for this class. Appropriate all cotton clothing is required.  Prerequisite: Successful completion of Air Cooled class.
 
Commercial II is a 5-day  course. The curriculum covers electrical and generator safety and theory, gaseous ignition systems, HTS & GTS transfer switches and H series controls, remote annunciation and relay panels. We'll also cover GenLink DCP fundamentals, adjustments and calibration of H panels, FTS & HTS switches, maintenance intervals, parts, contracts and start-up forms. We'll discuss placement, fueling & wiring along with sizing, non-linear & motor loads, wiring diagrams and schematics, warranty procedures and parts. Upon successful completion a technician assigned to an appropriate service dealer may perform warranty repairs on non configured gaseous fueled sets to 150kW equipped with an r or H series controller. A laptop with GenLink DCP installed, serial cable (PN0F7707) and serial USB adaptors  are required. All cotton clothing is required. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Commercial I course.
